• TYPES OF FABRICS -
GEORGETTE FABRIC – Georgette fabrics are usually light weighted fabrics, categorised in crepe fabrics, its usually made of silk if its of an original quality. Its also made with synthetic fibers these days with the use of materials like polyester, rayon, viscose. Its used maximum these days to make sarees, blouses, lehengas, pakistani style salwar kameez, punjabi style salwar kameez, kurtis, burqas and dupattas.
COTTON FABRIC – Cotton fabrics are usaully soft and light weighted, worn more in the regions with warm temperature which makes it the favourite material for summers. Made out of cotton plant its processed in the form of yarn and then woven into a soft, long-lasting fabric. Its used to make men’s shirt, salwar kameez, kurtis, sarees, blouses, men’s kurta pajamas, pakistani dresses/sawar kameez and dupattas.
Chiffon fabric – Chiffon fabrics are usually net like in texture, very light, shimmery, slippery yet a delight to wear. Its created using synthetic fabrics and needs maximum care while washing. The transparent look of chiffon makes it more appealing and is used maximum in making sarees, blouses, lehengas, dupattas, pakistani salwar kameez, kurtis and burqas.
Silk fabric – Silk is the most expensive and the most preferred natural fabric when it comes to making good quality clothes. Its soft, light weighted and gives a royal feel to any garment. Made from insect larvae silk fabrics are mainly used to make salwar kameez, kurtis, sarees, blouses, lehengas, shawls, mufflers and dupattas. Its long lasting and need utmost care while washing. Loved by the royals silk fabric is a symbol of superiority.
Satin fabric – Satin fabric is famous for its softness glimmer and shiny texture.
